Will the light shine in my eyes at a desk or nightstand?
No. Warm LEDs sit in a recessed ring under the flat disc head, so the light washes the surface below instead of hitting your eyes. The touch pad steps the brightness up or down.
How do I control the brightness?
It uses a touch-sensitive switch. A tap on the touch pad steps the light up or down, so there is no separate knob or physical button to fuss with.
What finishes are available, and what are they actually called?
