We built Ergovanta on a clear order of priority: you come first. The thinking, the focus, the rhythm of a good working day are yours; a room cannot do that for you, but it can fit the way you already think instead of working against it.
So we gathered the pieces into one place, lighting, decor, ergonomics, the small things on the desk and in a workspace, in service of the way you work. Not a desk or workspace you escape, but a room you come back to on purpose.
The name
ERGO
, from ancient Greek ergon (Ἑργον). The purposeful function of a thing in action. The literal meaning is work. The deeper Aristotelian reading is the room itself doing its job.
VANTA
, coined, the shorthand for advantage. The small lift the right setup gives anyone.

The founder
Built from other people’s corner offices.
Ergovanta was founded by George, who spent years on Wall Street as an investment banker and then as a private equity investor. The work took him into the home and corporate offices of other investment bankers, private equity investors, venture capitalists, hedge fund managers, and Fortune 500 executives across a range of industries. The longer he spent in those workspaces, the clearer the pattern got. The rooms people actually wanted to return to were never the biggest or the best funded. They were the ones built on purpose. Ergovanta turns that into pieces anyone can put in their own room, whatever the work is.
