Light the desk

A desk light that hangs from the screen and leaves the surface yours.

Lumina, No base, full desk
01

No base, full desk

It clips to the top edge of the monitor instead of standing on the surface, so the footprint a desk lamp usually claims stays yours for the keyboard and notebook.

Lumina, Glare off the screen
02

Glare off the screen

Asymmetric optics aim the light down onto the keyboard and notebook while keeping it off the monitor. You light the work, not the display.

Lumina, Three tones, one touch
03

Three tones, one touch

Cycle warm, neutral, and cool through a single touch on the top sensor, and dim to the level the hour calls for without reaching behind the screen.

Lumina in Black, in a workspace

Lumina in Black

The one you do not have to think about

Black recedes into a desk and lets the work be the loudest thing on it. It is the finish that photographs cleanly on a call, holds up against every wood tone, and is almost never the decision anyone regrets.

Lumina in White, in a workspace

Lumina in White

Reads as light, not as furniture

White keeps a small desk feeling larger than it measures. Against plaster, paper and pale wood it stops registering as an object at all, which is exactly what you want from something that lives in front of you eight hours a day.

Questions

Good to know before you equip.

Will it fit my monitor?

The bar mounts with an adjustable clip designed for displays of standard thickness, so most flat monitors are covered. The bar itself is 12.99 inches wide (33 cm), which sits comfortably along the upper edge of a typical desktop display. It clips on without tools, so there is nothing to drill or stick down.

How is it powered, and does it take up an outlet?

It runs on USB-C at 5V/1A, drawing 5W. You can power it straight from a spare port on your monitor, a USB hub, or a wall adapter, so it does not need its own outlet. There is no battery to recharge; it draws power continuously while the cable is connected.

Will the light shine into my eyes or reflect off the screen?

The optics are asymmetric on purpose: the light aims down onto the keyboard and notebook and keeps glare off the monitor face. The description notes this also reduces eye strain over long sessions. So the desk surface gets lit while the screen stays clean.

Can I change the color of the light?

Yes. A single touch on the top sensor cycles through three temperatures: 3000K warm, 4000K neutral, and 6500K cool. The same top switch also handles dimming, so you can set both the tone and the brightness without reaching for a separate control.

Does it sit on the desk and eat up space like a desk lamp?

No. It hangs from the top of the display rather than standing on the surface, so it has no base. That keeps the desk footprint a normal lamp would claim free for your work.

Is it bright enough to actually work by?

It puts out 249 lumens from 48 LED chips at 0.5W each, with a CRI above 85 for accurate color. That is sized to pool light across a keyboard and notebook at a writing desk rather than light a whole room. Brightness is dimmable, so you can dial it to what the task needs.

Which color should I pick, black or white?

Both variants are the same bar with a matte ABS shell and a brushed-aluminum face; only the finish differs, matte black or matte white. Pick the one that disappears against your monitor and desk. The light output and mounting are identical between the two.
