About this collection

Old shapes, current internals

Vintage here means the form is period and the parts are not. These are retro, classical and industrial-era shapes built with modern LEDs, quartz movements and USB power, so you get the character without inheriting the wiring. That distinction is the whole point. Genuinely old fixtures bring old electrics, obsolete bulbs and no warranty path. A retro form with current internals dims properly, runs cool, and can be plugged in without an electrician looking at it first.

Common questions

Are these actually antique?

No, and they are not sold as such. These are new pieces made in period forms, with modern components inside. Nothing here is presented as a genuine antique or as a reclaimed original.

Why buy a retro form instead of a real vintage piece?

Serviceability. An original fixture usually means aging wiring, bulbs that are hard to source, and no way to dim it cleanly. A retro form with modern internals gives you the same silhouette with LED efficiency and current safety, and it can be replaced if it fails.

Do these use special bulbs?

Check the individual product page, which carries the specification for that piece. Where a fixture is integrated LED it needs no bulb at all; where it takes one, the fitting is stated on the page.

How do I use vintage pieces without the room looking themed?

Keep them to accents and let the working surfaces stay plain. One retro desk light or clock reads as character. A whole desk of period pieces reads as a set, which is a harder look to live with and a harder one to keep current.
