What desks does the clamp actually fit?
The threaded clamp opens to roughly 1.18 in (3 cm) and tightens down onto thinner panels, seating on the lip of most desks, shelves, and side tables. If your desktop is thicker than about an inch and a quarter at the edge, it will not clamp on, so measure the edge first.
Do I have to drill or glue anything?
No. You twist it on and twist it off, with nothing drilled or glued, so it leaves no mark and moves to a new desk without a trace. That also means you can reposition it whenever you rearrange the setup.
Will the wood take the weight of my headphones, or is that just for looks?
The wood cradle holds the headband while a metal plate and bracket carry the actual weight out of sight, so the load sits on the aluminum alloy hardware, not the wood. The grain face is what stays in view; the metal does the work.
