How tall is it?

How adjustable is the light?
Both brightness and color temperature adjust steplessly, from a warm evening tone to a cool working white, at the lamp itself. An optional remote adds adjustment from across the room plus a timer shut-off for falling asleep under it.
What does CRI 98 mean for me?
Color rendering index measures how faithfully a light shows colors, with sunlight at 100. At 98, book pages, artwork and skin tones look the way they do by day rather than washed or yellowed.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
The lamp runs on a low-voltage adapter at or below 36 volts rather than mains carried up the stem, and the flared base carries a built-in counterweight, so at 7.7 pounds it is planted and hard to tip.
