A bird that carries the light
A gold magpie on a black perch, glowing warm from the belly. Sculpture when off, light when on.
The glow
The LED sits inside the bird and diffuses through its white belly, so the light lands as a soft warm pool below the fixture rather than a glare at eye level.
The perch
A matte black round canopy and a slim perch arm hold the bird off the wall. The hardware stays quiet so the gold body does the talking.
One bird or two
The single head puts one magpie on the arm. The double stacks a second bird on the same canopy for a taller, bolder arrangement on the same 29 cm footprint.

Questions
Good to know before you equip.
What is the difference between the single and double head?
Both mount on the same 29 cm wide canopy and arm. The single head carries one bird and stands 24 cm tall. The double head stacks a second bird above the first and stands 39 cm tall. Same finish, same warm light, more presence.
Is the bird actually gold?
The body is electroplated in a mirror gold finish over a molded shade. That is what keeps the fixture light enough to hang from a slim perch arm, and it is why the surface reflects the room like polished metal.
Where does the light come out?
Through the bird's white belly diffuser, facing down. You get a soft warm pool below the fixture rather than a bare bulb at eye level, which is what makes it comfortable beside a bed or a desk.
How does it install?
It is a wall mounted fixture. The round canopy fixes to the wall with the included mounting hardware. If you are replacing an existing sconce, it goes where the old one was. For a first installation, an electrician will have it up quickly.
Can I clean it?
Yes. The covers are removable and washable, and the gold body wipes clean with a dry soft cloth. Skip abrasive cleaners, they will dull the electroplated finish.
Which rooms does it suit?
Bedsides are the classic placement, one on each side of the bed. It also holds a reading corner, the wall above a desk, an entry, or a hallway that needs one deliberate object.
Does it work in an office?
Yes. The double head in particular reads as a statement piece for a reception wall or a lounge corner, and volume pricing applies from the second unit.
