Two backrests, one back
A lumbar cushion and an upper-back cushion, stacked and padded separately. That is the whole argument.
The split backrest
Instead of one flat panel, the Double stacks two cushions: one at the lower back, one behind the shoulder blades. Each is padded on its own frame, so the back of the chair follows the shape of a back.
Recline you control
The backrest travels from 100 to 130 degrees with about 30 degrees of rocking. A pull-pin fixes it where you want it or frees it to move. The seat follows with about 10 degrees of synchronized tilt.
Steel where it counts
A 2 mm one-piece closed steel seat plate, an all-steel five-star base, and an SGS-certified gas strut tested through 100,000 lift cycles. The parts that carry you are metal, not molded plastic.

Good to know before you equip.
What does the second backrest actually do?
It splits the back support into two separate cushions. The lower one sits at the small of your back, the upper one meets your shoulder blades, and each is padded on its own frame. A single flat panel has to average those two zones; the Double does not. The Single is the same chair with one conventional backrest, 47 cm wide and 7 cm thick.
Fabric or PU leather, which should I pick?
Pick by how you use it. The tech fabric is breathable and skin-friendly, the better call for long sessions and warm rooms. The PU leather resists abrasion and aging and wipes clean, the better call for shared spaces and anyone who eats at their desk. Finish is tied to colorway: the gloss Single colors are PU, the Brown through Dark Gray Singles are fabric.
How far does it recline, and does it rock?
The backrest travels from 100 to 130 degrees, with about 30 degrees of rocking inside that range. A pull-pin either locks the angle or frees the chair to rock. The seat tilts with the backrest, about 10 degrees, synchronized, so reclining does not slide you off the front edge.
What is holding all this up?
Steel, mostly. The seat mounts to a one-piece closed steel plate 2 mm thick, the five-star base is all steel, and the gas strut is SGS certified and tested through 100,000 lift cycles. The strut is the explosion-proof type. These are the parts that fail first on cheap chairs, which is why they are the parts we specified hardest.
Will the casters mark a hard floor?
They are soft PU, SGS certified, the caster type specified for hard flooring. Soft PU rolls quieter and is gentler on wood and tile than the hard nylon wheels most office chairs ship with. On carpet they roll fine too, just with less drama.
Why do some versions have a chrome frame and others black?
It follows the upholstery. Every Double color ships on a chrome frame with a chrome five-star base. On the Single, the two gloss PU colors keep the chrome frame, and the four tech fabric colors ship on a black frame. Same steel construction in every case, just finished differently.
Do you sell to offices, and is there volume pricing?
Yes, and yes, but we quote it individually. Freight on a chair this size is a real cost that varies by destination, so a published discount ladder would be wrong half the time. Email us your quantity and delivery address and we will come back with real numbers.
