Flush-mount ceiling light

Low profile, even light, no visible diode

Opal, Opal, not clear
01

Opal, not clear

The diffuser is solid opal, so you see a lit surface instead of the LED behind it. No dot pattern overhead.

Opal, Flush to the ceiling
02

Flush to the ceiling

It sits close enough to clear a low ceiling and a door swing, which is where a pendant usually stops being an option.

Opal, Four rims
03

Four rims

White to disappear, or gray, green and pink when the ceiling is allowed to be part of the room.

4 finishes

Which one is yours

A swatch tells you the colour. This tells you the room it belongs in.

Opal in White, in a workspace

Opal in White

Reads as light, not as furniture

White keeps a small desk feeling larger than it measures. Against plaster, paper and pale wood it stops registering as an object at all, which is exactly what you want from something that lives in front of you eight hours a day.

Opal in Gray, in a workspace

Opal in Gray

Neutral, without going invisible

Gray is the one that survives a room changing around it. It holds its shape against warm wood and cool metal alike, so it still looks right after the desk, the chair and the wall color have all been replaced.

Opal in Green, in a workspace

Opal in Green

Reads calm, and photographs well

Green takes the clinical edge off a desk that is otherwise all screen and metal. It sits naturally beside wood and plants, and it is the finish that makes a workspace look like somewhere you chose to be.

Opal in Pink, in a workspace

Opal in Pink

Softer, and more sure of itself than it sounds

Pink takes the hard edge off a desk full of black rectangles. Against pale wood and white walls it reads warm and composed rather than loud.

Questions

Good to know before you equip.

What is the difference between the light modes?

Cool white is a single neutral-to-cool output, warm white is a single warm output, and tri-color lets you switch between warm, neutral and cool on the same fixture. Pick tri-color if the room does more than one job.

Will it work on a low ceiling?

Yes. It is a flush mount, so it sits tight to the ceiling rather than hanging, which is the usual reason a pendant will not work in a hallway or a low room.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated rather than a screw-fit bulb, which is what allows the flush profile and the even diffuser.

Does it need an electrician?

It is a hardwired ceiling fixture, so it connects to your existing ceiling wiring. If you are not comfortable working with mains wiring, have an electrician fit it.

Which color rim should I choose?

White reads as part of the ceiling and is the safe answer. Gray, green and pink are for when the fixture is meant to be seen against a plain ceiling.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the light mode you choose and your existing switch. The tri-color version changes color temperature rather than brightness.

How much area does it cover?

It suits small to mid rooms, hallways, entries and reading corners. For a large open room, plan on more than one.
