A small, warm corner

A painted dome and a wood pull-bead, for the corner that wants its own light.

01

Turns on with a tug

A small wood pull-bead hangs under the shade, so it switches on with a gentle pull. No wall switch to wire, which is what makes it easy at a bedside where a switch sits out of reach.

02

Soft matte pastel

A painted dome shade in Yellow, Pink, Green, or White over a natural-wood collar. It reads as a quiet bit of color on the wall rather than a fixture you have to design around.

03

Your bulb, your warmth

An open E27 socket takes any common bulb in that base, shipped with or without a G80 globe. Pick a warm LED and you set exactly how calm the corner feels.

Questions

Good to know before you equip.

Do I need to wire this into the wall, or can I just hang it?

It hardwires into a standard wall box behind a single round backplate, and the installation hardware is included. There is no plug-and-cord version, so plan for a junction box where you want it. Once mounted, you control it day to day with the wood pull-bead, not a wall switch.

How do I turn it on and off without a wall switch?

A small wood pull-bead hangs under the shade, and a gentle tug turns the light on or off. That is the whole control. It works well next to a bed or chair where reaching a wall switch would be awkward.

Does it come with a bulb?

That depends on the option you pick. You can choose it with or without a G80 globe bulb. The fixture uses a standard E27 socket, so if you order without the bulb you can fit any common E27 in that base and set the warmth yourself; a warm LED gives the calmest result.

How far does it stick out from the wall above a desk?

It projects 7.9 in (200 mm) from the wall, stands 6.3 in tall (160 mm), and the shade is 5.9 in wide (150 mm). That projection puts the light out past the backplate, which is useful over a desk or reading corner. Measure your clearance if it sits near a path you walk through.

Can I buy two and run them as a matched pair?

Yes. The sconce is designed to work as a single wall light or as a matched pair, for example flanking a bed or a console. Each unit wires and controls independently with its own backplate and pull-bead.

Which color should I choose for a workspace wall?

It comes in soft matte pastel Yellow, Pink, Green, or White, each with the same natural-wood collar and pull-bead. For a workspace wall the choice is mostly about matching the room, since the light output is set by the bulb you fit, not the shade color. White is the most neutral if you want it to recede.
